Summer Outings 2008

 

June

Thursday 5th A evening stroll on the Somerset Levels for Birds, Butterflies and Flowers and afterwards some refreshment at the local Inn.
Meet at Ashcott Corner 6.30pm

Sunday15th A day out at the Black Country Living Museum at Dudley, go back in time to 1912 see the trams go in the pub even down a coal mine its all at Dudley. Meet at the club 9.30am

Thursday June 19th An evening visit to Cheddar stroll up towards the gorge along side the river buy an ice cream or have a pint. Meet at the club 6.30pm

Sunday 29th An afternoon and evening visit to Glastonbury and Wells, visit  the Abbey and then on to the Bishops Palace and Wells Cathedral. Try  Tea on the Lawn with Scones. Meet at the club 1.30pm

July

Thursday July 3rd An evening visit to Richards Farm at Spaxton stroll around the pond and meet the geese lots of photographs to be had, we finish up at the Lamb for a swift half. Meet at the club 6.30pm

Sunday July 13th A day out at Slimbridge plenty to see and plenty of photo opportunity's and if there is time stop  at the Butterfly Farm for a few more shots. Bring a packed Lunch. Meet at the club 9.30am

Sunday July 20th A day out at the Somerset Steam Spectacular at Ham Hill Langport, if you want atmosphere here it is. Meet at the club 10am

Thursday July 24th A mystery tour. Meet at the club 7pm

 

 

 

 

August

Sunday August 3rd A walk around Bridgwater catch the early sun and high tide is at 9am, Meet at the club 8am

Thursday August 7th A pleasant stroll around Burnham catch the boats in the marina and the Lighthouse at low tide. Refreshments on the sea front. Meet at the club 6.30pm

Sunday August 17th Were off to St Fagans the Museum of Welsh Life near Cardiff Bring a packed lunch. Meet at the club 10am

Sunday August 24th Bristol or  Bath for Bridges and things.
Meet at the club 2pm

 


 

Sydenham camera Club, based in Bridgwater, Somerset; a mixed group of photographers who try their hand at landscapes, portraits, natural history, motoring, sports and nature photography. Our photography club welcomes members of all ages and is ideal for
beginners to photography or those who just want to learn more and have fun. We also compete with other clubs such as Taunton, Wellington and Bleadon. Come along and learn about audio visual shows, macro photography and other fun subjects.
