Tonight (22nd Nov 07) Paul gave us some tuition on how to use the selection tools in Photoshop. He started off with basic selection techniques using the square marquee tool and then moved onto using the magic wand, magnetic selection tool and then on to more advanced techniques using layer masks and alpha masks. Haven't got a clue what i am talking about? Well where were you? I hope to see you at the next meeting.
Also tonight Don and Jack very kindly brought in their studio lighting equipment to give people a chance to try their hand at portraiture. This did also involve models of the four legged variety too however as mans best friend (no not beer) became the focus of some of the photos. Two lighting set ups were put in place and members could then arrange the model in the best position before taking a few shots.
