New faces continue to appear one by one at the club. To all those new people, I hope you have enjoyed yourself and you have enjoyed a warm welcome from other members.
Last night (27th Sep 07) Paul Carter continued with his teaching of Photoshop. Paul is catering for two different levels of user; last night was for beginners and next week will be for the more advanced users. Paul has done a really excellent job of explaining in a very clear and detailed way how Photoshop works to our members; well done Paul.
At our last meeting we had the pleasure of welcoming Richard Vale (see left) to judge our entries for the transport competition. This month we had a bumper selection of entries, so many in fact we started to run out of space to display them. We had a wide selection of images on the subject of transport, but a popular theme seemed to be to capture parts of vehicles up close rather than further away. Our lucky 1st place winners were Jack Gillespie for his print entry taken at Williton Station and Evelyn French for her slide entry of a sand yachting event at Brean beach. Both winners are pictured left with Richard.
