Digital tutorial
Tonight (29th Nov 07) Paul expanded further on touching up our photos. We often find little blemishes on our skin, but this is easily fixed on the computer in Photoshop. Paul also showed us how to smooth the skin so it look softer, just like you see in the magazines. Paul also touched on getting the skin tones right. Next week this will be expanded upon when the subject of colour correction is covered.

Slideshow presentation
Tonight we welcomed Tony & Jenny Byram to the club to show us their audio visual slideshows. It was quite refreshing to see a variety of slideshows from many different places in the world that had been visited by the couple. We saw everything from the mountains and glaciers of New Zealand to the architecture of Venice.

The slideshows were accompanied by Tony's live commentary, which made the shows that much more interesting and relevant. A lot of thought had gone into the digital slideshows from an artistic standpoint so thanks Tony and Jenny for your efforts and for allowing us to enjoy your work.

Next week...
...we have our monthly competition. Judged by David Daggar ARPS
