Digital tutorial
Tonight (10th Jan 08) Paul gave a more basic overview of using layers in Photoshop. Many people find layers very confusing and don't always know what the benefit is of using them. The benefit is that you can manipulate specific parts of your image without affecting other parts and still be able to undo what you have done at a later date. Hopefully tonights little lesson has made things a bit clearer for those new to using layers.

Future club subjects
Unfortunately tonights planned live lecture had to be cancelled, but it did give members the opportunity to put forward their views on what subjects should be included in next years club programme. The general consensus was that there needed to be more interaction between members so we can learn from each other. We are already lucky enough to have Paul achieving this on the digital side of things, but we shall also be looking more at how to use our cameras (starting next week).

Don Cristofoli
To finish our evening i think we all enjoyed hearing a few stories from one of our more comedic characters, Don. He took us back to the old days of Middlezoy and told tales, er i mean historic stories of the people who live/lived there.

Next week...
Members night. Bring your camera and we will tell you how to get the best out of it and how to create that photo you like but don't know how to do it yourself.
