Tonight (13th Mar 08) Ross completed his talk on using Adobe Camera Raw and Adobe Bridge. It was tieing up lose ends really. Ross explained how you can edit multiple RAW files at once and how small imperfections in your images due to over sharpening can be ironed out. The remainder of the session was taken up by asking the club what they wanted to know about Bridge.

Photos of Bridgwater
Many of the club members have lived in Bridgwater for a number of years and tonight was a great chance to take a trip down memory lane. Brian Facey for one knew a lot about the town's history and so gave us a bit of an insight whilst displaying his photos.

What made it more fun was the chance for the club to vote on each other's photos of Bridgwater to decide which they thought was best. Martin Barber took first place with a great photo showing a combination of a shop window and a reflection of a well know building in the town. A few new members also scooped a place amongst tonight's winners against more established members so well done!

Next week...
It's the club auction. We'll be selling off our unused or unwanted camera gear as a bit of fun and a way to raise funds for the club. We'll also be auctioning other items on the night. I believe some bath salts went down well last year. You can leave the kitchen sink behind though, I think we have enough of those!
