Basic camera skills
Tonight (3rd Apr 08) Ross continued teaching on the subject of basic camera skills. Last week we tackled ISO, this week was Aperture. Ross used some images he had shot on a tripod with different apertures and compared the results in front of the club. Ross explained how using a different aperture for differing situations can have dramatic effects on the sort of image that is captured. You can find the notes from the tutorial in the "Digital Nights" section of the website.

Jack Gillespie print competitions
This evening we had three internal competitions. Unfortunately Jack, one of our members could not make it tonight to judge so Bill took the reigns. The three categories were, home produced prints, digital, and machine prints (see left). Congratulations to all our winners.
