Basic camera skills
Tonight (27th Mar 08) Ross continued teaching on the subject of basic camera skills. Last week we tackled composition, this week was ISO. ISO can affect the quality and detail of your images as well as ambient light level and shutter speed. Ross went on to explain how choosing the right ISO can give you the desired effect for your photos and what ISO is best to use for a given situation.

Monthly club competition
Another night of images to be judged; this time it was by Maureen Dennis. Again some great work and might I add some cracking images submitted by new members. Susanne scooped first again (see below) with a photo of starlings in her garden being fed by "mummy and daddy starling."

As I keep saying the work submitted is getting better all the time which is always nice to see.

Next week
Next week we The Jack Gillespie Print Competitions. Home Produced, Digital and Machine prints
