Digital tutorial
Tonight (28th Feb 08) Ross took over the reins of digital instruction. There was a lot packed into tonight's session. Ross began by showing everyone how Adobe Bridge can be used to organise files with labels, star ratings and a number of other tools. Ross then went onto show some of the tools in Adobe Camera RAW and how you can get the most out of ACR to process your RAW files. More on that next week.

London Salon Exhibition 2007
Similar to last week we had a slide exhibition of work from photographers from all over the place. This time not just nationally, but also internationally. There was definitely a more artistic theme running through the images this evening compared to last weeks selection. There seemed to be a strong emphasis on texture, composition, light and space. I have to say many of the images in my opinion didn't pull off what I would call interesting or impacting. Many of the images this year seemed a bit bland and lifeless. Just my opinion. There were a few images at the beginning however that did have some meaning and imagination to them.

Next week...
