AGM & Awards
This evening (29th May 08) Sydenham Camera Club held it's AGM, a time where members of the club can decide how they want the club to look next year and also an opportunity for some lucky members to enjoy a bit of limelight as they receive their awards.

Unfortunately Ken Hocking our chairman and one or two others couldn't make it this evening. Martin Barber did an excellent job of leading the meeting in Ken's absence.

Committee members each gave a brief report of their input into the club over the last year. We have a number of members for whom this was their first time on the committee so we have seen some change this past year. Martin told the club he would stand down as programme secretary and a new person would be needed as a replacement for the club to survive. Thankfully someone came forward to take up the position. Thank you Martin for your many years of service as programme secretary.

The logo was also discussed and it was found by the majority that there should be a reference to Bridgwater in the logo to help clarify the clubs position geographically.

Other proposals were also discussed as well as the finances of the club and any other business before we closed with the awards seen below. Gallery of winners
